Kalpeshwar (Fifth Abode of lord Shiva) is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, that can be trekked to from Urgam village. Trekking in the Himilayas is never entirely straightforward, but this 2 kilometer trek is not too difficult. Kalpeshwar can also be reached by an easy 10 KM trek from Helang village. There is accommodation at Urgam, Devgaon villages and home stay options at Kalpeshwar, but be sure to arrive early or book ahead. Kalpeshwar temple is the only one of Panch Kedar temples that remains open throughout the year.
