About Gangavaram Beach
Gangavaram Beach is one of the beautiful beaches located on the south of Visakhapatnam. Gangavaram Beach is lined with shady palm trees. Because of its lovely setting and vast shoreline, the beach is an ideal location for many Indian film and TV serial shooting. Located south and just 26 KMs from Visakhapatnam, Gangavaram beach is quite remote, spectacular and peaceful; however, swimming is strictly prohibited here.
However, due to the construction of Gangavaram sea port, the area around the beach is getting polluted and beach is losing its charm. Thus, skipping the place when in Visakhapatnam would not be a bad idea.
