About Toravi Narasimha Temple
Toravi Narashima Temple is located nearby “Adil Shah Sangeeta Mahal”. It is built underground. The people in Toravi visit the temple every Saturday. There is also one more temple dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi nearby this temple. Adil Shah was about to establish a new city named “Nauraspur (Nine sentiments)” in this place. Even now every year “Nauraspur Music Festival” is held by Government. As per the belief, it is in this place, Kumara Valmiki wrote Ramanyan in Kannada, namely “Toravi Ramayana”.
