About Gal Oruwa Ella Falls
Gal Oruwa Ella Falls in one of the five main waterfalls formed by the waters of Hariyawa stream and it is stunningly unique as the waters of the falls gushes through an extremely narrow path, between two huge rocks, each measuring 30 and 40 metres in height and cascades at the lower level forming a boat like structure. Hiking through the forest of Sinharaja will lead you to the falls. Adventure seekers and nature lovers ought to visit this place. The falls which is in Lankagama village in the district of Galle can be reached along the road of Lankagama and the ride is nearly 3 hours from Galle to the village.
