Detailed overview

Mirissa is one of the best places in the world to see Blue Whales and Sperm Whales on the same sailing. You will have a better chance of seeing these incredible animals during their annual migration from November to April when the continental shelf is narrow to the South of Dondra. 

Itinerary

• You will be received from your hotel's lobby in Colombo at around 4:00 AM.
• Post a short meet and greet you will be driven to Mirissa which will be approximately 2 and a half hour's drive from Colombo.
• Arrive in the tropical haven, the white sandy beaches of Mirissa will welcome you with a soothing breeze.
• Post your arrival you will set sail to the depths of the ocean for a whale-watching boat ride.
• Spend time in the turquoise waters and after the tour is complete, return back to the beach and have your lunch.
• You would find plenty of stalls by the beachside which serves some delicious meals.
