Tirupati is in the Chittoor district of Andrapradesh. It is most famous for its Sri Venkateswara Temple dedicated to Vishnu, also known as Balaji in North India and Govinda in South India. The Tirumala hill has seven peaks ("Sapthagiri"), said to represent the seven hoods of Adisesha, the serpent under whose hoods Vishnu resides in Vaikuntha.

Day 1: Travel from Bangalore to Tirupati

• Depart from Bangalore early in the morning, preferably around 5–6 AM, to avoid traffic and reach Tirupati comfortably.
• The distance from Bangalore to Tirupati is approximately 250 km, and it usually takes around 4–5 hours to reach by road.
• Upon reaching Tirupati, check into your hotel and freshen up.
• After resting for a while, proceed to visit the Sri Venkateswara Temple, also known as the Tirumala Temple, for darshan. It's advisable to check the temple's darshan timings in advance and plan your visit accordingly.
• After darshan, you can explore nearby attractions like Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple, Sri Kalyana Venkateswaraswami Temple, and Sri Kapileswaraswami Temple.
• In the evening, return to your hotel and relax. You can also visit local markets or enjoy a leisurely stroll around the city.

Day 2: Tirumala Darshan and Return to Bangalore

• Wake up early in the morning and head to Tirumala, the hilltop abode of Lord Venkateswara, by either booking a private vehicle or using the government-run buses.
• Reach Tirumala and join the queue for darshan at the Sri Venkateswara Temple. The waiting time for Darshan may vary depending on the crowd, so be prepared to wait for a few hours.
• After darshan, you can visit other significant landmarks in Tirumala, such as Sri Vari Museum, Akasaganga Teertham, and Silathoranam.
• Enjoy lunch at one of the local eateries, where you can savor authentic South Indian cuisine.
• In the afternoon, start your journey back to Bangalore. Ensure you leave Tirupati with sufficient time to reach Bangalore comfortably, considering traffic conditions.
• Upon reaching Bangalore, your tour concludes.
