Detailed Overview

Rohtang Pass at an altitude of over 13000 ft is very famous amongst the bikers and the trekkers who want to scale this impregnable pass. It is indeed difficult to cross the pass as it is prone to avalanche and due to weather packing up after 12 noon. At Rohtang is located the Beas Kund which is the principal source of water supply to Beas river. Other than this, Sarkund lies on the left side of Rohtang pass. Famous for its medicinal properties this kund is frequently visited during the September month. 

Itinerary

Manali Hotel, ride to Rohtang Pass and be back by evening | 110 km | 8-9 hours

• You will be received by your host/rider at your hotel in Manali at around 7:00 AM in the morning. (Please enter your hotel address in the pick-up details)
• Post a short meet and greet, you will begin your ride to Rohtang Pass as a pillion rider, you start early to avoid congestion en route the pass. 
• Cruise on a powerful 350 cc bike, as your guide/rider, explains you about the route and its significance.
• After your arrival in Rohtang, you may take a lunch break and spend some leisure time at the famous high mountain pass.
• Once you are done with the sightseeing, you may hop on the bike and undertake the return journey to Manali.
• You are expected to reach back in Manali by 6:00-7:30 PM depending on the traffic conditions on the route. 
• Upon your arrival in Manali, you will be dropped back to your hotel.
