★★★★★ Ali is an absolute gem and a fount of knowledge about old Bengaluru! I thoroughly enjoyed our historic tour around the 'petes' and the market which included a delicious dosa in a thoroughly authentic breakfast or tiffin place in one of the myriad of alleys and byways of the old city. As my bias is towards textiles he took me to hidden silk weavers and dyers still working in the centre of old Bengaluru and to a delicious fabric store, which he specially sourced for me. I cannot recommend this tour enough if you want to immerse yourself in the hustle and bustle of the old city centre and learn a little about the beginnings of Bengaluru! Thank you Ali!
★★★★★ If you choose to explore Bengaluru on foot, with Bengaluru by Foot, you are in for a treat. Mansoor, has painstakingly curated numerous walk circuits within the city, and beyond to places like Srirangapatnam that are united by themes and remain relevant even during contemporary period. The stories flow from the medieval to the modern, without any bumps or jerks, over a sumptuousmeal, mostly breakfast. That he is an avid storyteller, and a celebrity authority often quoted in newspapers, adds to the charm of the walks. As someone who has been on most of his walk circuits in two years, it is an honour to review him here. More power to you, Mansoor. Can't wait for the next tour with Bengaluru by Foot.
★★★★★ Enjoyed the Malleswaram heritage home walk . Saw some really beautiful homes of the bygone era . Lucky these beauties are still existing , some maintained and looked after by families that own them , some delapitated and some crumbled and waiting for the D day. Mansoor is an excellent guide and store house of knowledge about the history of our beautiful Bangalore
