GIO Adventures (est. 1999) is an Outdoors Adventure Company with a mission. The mission of making destinations, not often found on regular maps, accessible to people who love discovering them. GIO Adventures enables Outdoors Enthusiasts to savour some of the Best Outdoors Travel Experiences in India – Lush valleys, craggy mountains, high altitude cold deserts, winding rivers, dense forests – a smorgasbord of sensory experiences that one can only find in the outdoors.

★★★★★ An Unforgettable and Well-Supported Tungnath-Chandrashila-Doriatal Trek with GIO Adventures I can't recommend them highly enough. From the outset, their staff were consistently polite and patient, addressing all our queries with a helpful and friendly attitude. The real stars of the show, however, were the guides, Jagat and Sudeep. Their knowledge of the region, the trails, and the local flora and fauna was truly impressive. They shared fascinating insights throughout our journey, enhancing the entire experience. Their guidance and expertise were invaluable, especially during the more challenging ascent to Chandrashila peak. The accommodation provided by GIO Adventures was consistently clean and perfectly located, offering comfortable respite after long days of trekking. It was clear they had carefully chosen spots that maximized our access to the stunning natural beauty of the river Mandakini at Verdant valley. As a group with healthy vegan needs, and myself following a raw vegan diet, we were exceptionally well catered for. The GIO Adventures team went above and beyond to ensure we had plenty of fresh fruits, vibrant salads, and even incorporated local edible flowers and leaves into our meals. This thoughtful attention to our dietary requirements made a huge difference and allowed me to maintain my raw vegan nourishment effortlessly throughout the trek. Overall, GIO Adventures provided a seamless, supportive, and truly memorable experience. Their commitment to our well-being, combined with the expertise of their guides and the quality of their arrangements, made this Chandrashila trek an absolute joy. This time also we had a wonderful trip with them. We were well taken care of. thanks to mr. Vishal Rana who organised our trip. Special thanks to our guide, vilas and rahul, from guptakashi resort who took very good care of us. Our driver, satish, who was very skilled. We felt safe with him. Many times I have traveled alone and joined an unknown group- GIO is always so sensitive to that and the organisers take extra care to make me feel comfortable and safe. There is very rarely any goof up and the arrangements are always good. The food specially is always to die for. Our latest trek to Singalila was customised and every detail was taken care of. I highly recommend GIO as a trekking agency

★★★★★ I went for the Nag Tibba trek with my 8 year old son. The service was excellent. Great food, ample snacks and juices. The tent was very good and roomy - double foam was provided to line the tent floor and so there was no cold coming from below. The sleeping bags had extra liners plus blankets to top. We had solar lanterns and hot water bottles and were very comfortable despite the sub zero temperature at night. We had a pucca western style bathroom to use which was neat and clean and hot water to clean up. I was so glad to have chosen GIO adventures instead of other cheaper companies - when I saw the bare arrangements at their camp sites, huge groups etc - I thanked my stars for making the right choice. We had our peace and quiet at our camp site and so much flexibility. I was given two guides because I was trekking with my child and Ramesh helped my child constantly and encouraged him and told him stories even when he was getting tired and wanted to stop. With the help of our experienced and dedicated guides we navigated 3-5 ft deep snow with ease. Thank you GIO adventures for an unforgettable experience.
