Roopkund trek, which takes you the Mystery Lake or Skeleton Lake is as much about the lake as is it is about the way to that Lake. Trek passes though twin meadows of Ali and Bedni Bugyal, and involves a thrilling climb over snow to reach the Roopkund Lake which has human skeletons dating back to 9th century in it. Roopkund trek is a moderate trek encompassing the true Himalayan beauty- high Himalayan peaks, deep valleys, glimmering rivers, dark forests, scenic meadows and gorgeous views. Roopkund Lake is a situated at an altitude of 5029 meters.

Day 1: Drive from Kathgodam to Lohajung
Day 2: Lohajung to Didna Village
Day 3: Didna village to Ali Bugyal
Day 4: Ali Bugyal to Ghora Lotani
Day 5: Ghora Lotani to Bhagwabasa
Day 6: Bhagwabasa to Roopkund Lake.Back to Bedni Bugyal via Bhagwabasa
Day 7: Bedni Bugyal to Lohajung via Wan.
Day 8: Drive from Lohajung to Kathgodam
