Trip Overview

Shrikhand Mahadev peak comes under the category of 'easy' climbing peaks. The Shrikhand Mahadev trek is a pilgrim trail that leads to the Shrikhand Mahadev peak (5155 meters/17,000 ft.) named after Lord Shiva. This is one of the 5 Kailash which is said to be the abodes of Lord Shiva.

Brief Itinerary:

Day 1: Shimla to Singhad

Early morning pick up at Shimla ISBT and drive towards Singhad village. Acclimatization Day. The day is free for leisure and for acclimatization, overnight stay in the Guest House/Camp.

Day 2: Singhad to Thachru

In the morning after breakfast, we will be leaving for Thachru, which involves some steep trekking of 5km distance. W set a camp for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Thachru - Bhim Dwari

After breakfast, we will leave for Bhim Dwari, which involves 9 kms of trekking. We negotiate glaciers and waterfalls on the way.

Day 4: Bhim Dwari - Parvati Bagh

We will leave from Parvati Bagh in the late afternoon after exploring Bheem Dwari and trek to reach Parvati Bagh, which is 5 km away. On reaching Parvati Bagh, enjoy a relaxing overnight stay at the camp set in Parvati Bagh.

Day 5: Parvati Bagh - Shrikhand Mahadev - Parvati Bagh

After an early breakfast we will leave from Parvati Bagh and move towards Shrikhand Mahadev and thereafter return back to Parvati Bagh, which is together comprise of about 10 kms hike. On reaching Parvati Bagh, enjoy an overnight stay in the camp.

Day 6: Parvati Bagh - Thachdu

After breakfast, we will trek towards Thachdu from Bhim Dawari and cover a distance of about 12 kms. On reaching Thachdu, have dinner followed by an overnight stay in the camp.

Day 7: Thachdu – Jaon - Shimla

In the morning after breakfast, we will be leaving from Thachdu and have an incredible trekking experience of 14 kms to Jaon, we stay at Jaon for the night

Day 8: Jaon - Shimla

On the last day of our tour, we will be leaving from Jaon in the morning for Shimla. Drop at ISBT shimla.
