About Hathakesvara Temple
Small but architecturally beautiful temple, Hathakesvara Temple is located on the foothills of Nallamala Hills in Srisailam. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Local people consider that Hathakesvara Swamy is most powerful, who fulfills their prayers and cures diseases. Lord Shiva is worshipped as “Shiv Ling” in this temple. Saint Sri Shankaracharya wrote one of his Kreethanas in this temple. Picturesque landscapes wrapping up the temple refreshes our mind and soul.
