About Tilwara Ghat
Tilwara ghat is situated about 10-15 kms from Jabalpur city on the banks of river Narmada. It is here that Mahatma Gandhi's ashes were immersed in the holy river. There is a Gandhi memorial over here where one can go to pay respects to the father of the nation. Because of its proximity to Narmada, several temples are in the vicinity, which makes it a pilgrimage as well.
