About Ensa Gompa, Nubra Valley
Perched high above the valley is a small but equally beautiful monastery of Ensa Gompa. This ancient monastery is being expanded. Whole the construction work has diminished the character; the small prayer hall remains intact. The monastery's only connection to the main valley is through two slender and steep trails.
