About Zamskhang Palace
The Zamskhang Palace was the former residence of the king of Nubra. Now only the burnt remains can be seen. Interestingly, the place is surrounded by tiny stupas filled with votive clay tablets left by pilgrims on the Silk Road. A few kilometers away, there is another medieval monastery, Pinchimik.
