Kuntala Waterfall is located in Adilabad district, Telangana. This beauty is situated on Kadem river in Neredigonda Mandal. It is the highest waterfall in the state of Telangana with a height of 147 feet (45 meters). According to the popular and prevalent local belief, Kuntala Waterfall got its name after Shakuntala, the beloved wife of King Dushyanth and the mother of Bharat after whom our country is named; the pair fell in love with each other and were mesmerized by the scenic beauty of the surroundings.

The locals also believe that Shakuntala used to live here and bathe by the waterfall to rejuvenate her mind. So, this is an iconic place to experience our rich history and culture along with nature.

The Pochera waterfall was discovered after a while. This waterfall offers a breathtaking experience to the tourists. Only one of its kinds in Telangana and rarely found in India, Pochera Waterfall is a treat for enchantment and refreshment. Pochera Waterfalls River Godavari flowing from the neighbouring state flows down through the Sahayadri Mountain range of Telangana. The River that runs in many narrow streams, at this point mingles together and falls from a height of 20m the sound of the splashing waters against rocks echoes the surroundings of the rocky mountains.
