Detailed overview
The winter trek in Himachal Pradesh begins in the scenic hill station of Manali, one of the most preferred holiday destinations in India. Situated at an elevation of about 6700 feet above sea level, the town is a favourite among tourists throughout the year.
Itinerary
Day 1: Old Manali - Solang Valley - Old Manali | Trek of 8 KM / 4 Hours | 10334 feet
- You will have to report at the base camp in Old Manali in the morning at 11 AM.
- Post a short meet and greet, you would start your trek to Solang Valley, one of the most beautiful destinations of Manali, which will be taking around 4 hours.
- Post the trek, enjoy an overnight stay in a hotel in the wilderness and enjoy some unadulterated peace and quiet, even if it is for a night in Old Manali.
Day 2: Old Manali - Dhundi - Old Manali
- On the second morning enjoy the sights and sounds of the vibrant views.
- After a nice warm breakfast trek to Dhundi.
- The meadows of Dhundi & Bakarthach are spectacular in its beauty. As you climb higher you reach the origin of River Beas.
- Post the trek, you would be staying overnight at the hotel in Manali spending some quality time for yourself.
Day 3: Departure from Old Manali
- On day 3, check out from the hotel after your breakfast.
- The trek comes to an end and you move ahead for your onward journey.

- Stay in Tents/Homestays/Guest Houses on a twin/triple/quad sharing basis depending upon the weather conditions and group size.
- Nutritious, high-calorie food will be served (Usual menu is vegetarian, however, the hosts can carry/provide eggs or canned meat if important)

- Personal porters may be arranged to carry your personal backpack or luggage

- In case the trek is cancelled for the reason beyond our control then we will offer the alternate similar trek for the same duration otherwise 50% refund is applicable. You may opt for either refund or alternate trek.
- We have the right to change the itinerary during the time of trekking as per current situation like strike, natural disaster, local union regulations.
