About Gopa Chowk
The central market area in the town of Jaisalmer. Located within the fort and close to the artificial lake of Gadi Sagar. The center of activity in town, its proud location makes it a great place to begin travels, try out some shopping or indulge in a little people watching whilst you enjoy a coffee. Those wishing for something a little stronger, can seek out Dr. Bhang’s Bhang shop. Its special tea consisting of a number of (legal) narcotic substances is sure to make your brain tingle, if not, your hair stand on end.
