About Agam Kuan
The word Agam Kuan means "unfathomable well", is said to date back to the period of Maurya emperor, Asoka. He used the well to torturing people. The folklore states that this was well where Asoka threw 99 of his elder brothers after murdering them to obtain the throne of the Mauryan Empire. The tourist spot has a distinct architecture with 105' deep, circular in plan, with a diameter extending over 20'2". The well is made out of red brick and has a depth of more than 44 feet. The most inimitable feature that the well has is its eight arched windows.
