About Diglipur

Diglipur, a small town located in the North of Andaman, hums with a sense of chirpiness. Positioned at a distance of about 200 km from Port Blair, Diglipur can be reached by road and sea. An overnight journey through a ferry under the starry skies is recommended for those looking for a romantic-getaway. This town is a waystation for travel sights: like the Ross and Smith Islands, Kalipur and Lamiya Bay and the Saddle Peak Nation Park. Diglipur’s Ram Nagar beaches are also a must-visit, especially for those tired of the conventional ones in Goa. Ram Nagar beaches span across a long distance and are relatively less-crowded. They are also popular for sea turtles nestings, which can be checked out.  Diglipur has some attractions for the adventure-lovers as well: one can go snorkeling in Kalipur beach or climb the heights of Saddle peak. Thus, this small town provides a plethora of activities; making it a peaceful and adventurous escapade amongst the serene seas and mud volcanoes.
