Detailed Overview

Paragliding is an adventure sport of flying paragliders: lightweight, free-flying, foot-launched glider aircraft with no primary rigid structure. The pilot sits in a harness suspended below the fabric wing. As with all aircraft, launching and landing are done into the wind. The wing is placed into an airstream, either by running or being pulled or an existing wind. Even though the engines are not used in paragliding, the flights can easily last up to a few kilometres and for several hours.

Itinerary

You are required to report at Kullu base camp at 10:00 AM.
You will be briefed about the safety protocols and the equipment, post which you will be taken to the paragliding take off spot in Kullu.
You will be harnessed with your pilot at the take-off site, a post which you will enjoy a tandem flight for 20 minutes.
After the flight, you will be returning back the equipment and check-out from the base camp and head towards your onward journey.

Important Information

Activity is not permitted for children below 8 years of age.
Members of 8 years of age or more will be charged at adult pricing.
Activity has member weight limitation of a maximum of 100 KG.
You need to wear a T-shirt, full pants(No saree/skirts), shoes (no chappals) and a cap.
You may also carry sunscreen, glares, snacks and water bottle and a camera to take pictures.
Recording of your experience using HD Cameras at an extra cost payable on the spot.
Avoid flying immediately after taking food. Leave at least 1-2 hours of a gap.
We recommend participants with heart ailment and epilepsy to consult medical advice to do the activity of Paragliding.
Paragliding is a wind dependent sport and there’s a possibility of last minute reschedules or cancellations, which are beyond our control.
The starting time of the activity can vary and it can be intimated only on the day before the activity, as it is a weather dependent activity.
