On the most magical night of the year, what are your plans?
Ring in 2020, where the Mountains are! Join the hosts in the celebrations on the longest night of the year! The program is packed with exclusive events to welcome the New Year in style in the beautiful place Manali!

This Himalayan hill-station located at an altitude of 2050 m is a place where you create pictures for your mind-album. This is the kind of place you create memories in. Do you want to hike? Do you want to visit temples? Do you want to wade about in hot springs? Do you want to click selfies against exotic waterfalls...rock climbing, paragliding, skiing, snow-scootering, river-rafting….life’s days might run out but not things to do in Manali!

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Manali Base Camp

Once you arrive at the base camp in Manali, you will be allotted with tents.
On day 1, you will spend the day at leisure. Also, you could explore the lanes Old Manali- its cafes, hippie culture, and liberating vibes.
Go for a cafe hopping session. Don’t miss out on Shakshuka, taste-buds teasing Trout, Dylan’s coffee and a lot more.
Again, it will be a playful and enjoyable night with a bonfire and music enhancing the taste of the delicious dinner.

Day 2: Trek to Jogini Waterfall| New Year Party and Gala Dinner

Wake up to the beautiful sunrise. Freshen up and get ready for the trek to Jogni waterfalls.
In this waterfall, the water streams in from the Brighu lake, and all together, it makes a very scenic view of the waterfalls, being at the height of about 8,000 ft, it is an ideal trek for everybody.
After the trek, you will rejuvenate ourselves at Vasistha hot water springs, from Vasistha, you will be on our own to roam around freely in the markets in Manali.
But, you have to be there at the campsite before the party starts, so, by 6:00 PM.
The night will follow along with music mash-up and jamming session alongside the bonfire as you welcome the New Year with the countdown.

Day 3: Departure

After breakfast, a free day to roam around and you bid your goodbyes with beautiful memories to start your New Year with high spirits.

Important Information

Camping/Trekking programs in the Himalaya not necessarily would always run exactly as scheduled. Allow for unplanned long days or early camps due to weather disruptions or similar causes.
We highly recommend that you layer up instead of carrying heavy sweaters. 3 layers indoors are suggested and 4 or more outside in chill conditions.
Do not litter the environment. Polythene and plastics are non-biodegradable and unhealthy for the environment and must not be littered or burned and should be carried back.
Wear shoes and clothes you are comfortable in and do not forget waterproof jackets and warm clothing. Avoid Denim.

Accessories to carry:

Raincoat/ Poncho - make sure it is something that will cover your daypack and camera too.
Warm Beanie - make sure it is something that covers your ears. You can also use buffs, scarfs, etc in addition to your beanie.
Gloves - Lightweight synthetic gloves made of Fleece or you can also use woolen gloves.
Sunglasses with good UV protection.
Toiletries - Sunscreen SPF 40+, Moisturizer, Lip balm, Soap, Toilet paper.
