• Mandarmani is a small resort village in the state of West Bengal and is gaining popularity with each passing year. One can spot red crabs crawling over the 13-kilometer-long beach. Mandarmani Beach is considered one of the best driveable beaches in India. The beach is dotted with local shops selling shells, handmade jewellery, and handicrafts. Mandarmani & Tajpur Sightseeing Day Tour from Kolkata Suggested Itinerary

• Start your journey early in the morning, preferably around 6-7 AM, distance between Kolkata and Mandarmani is approximately 170 kilometers, which usually takes around 4-5 hours.
• Have a hearty breakfast on the way to Mandarmani or Tajpur. You can stop at a roadside eatery or a restaurant en route.
• Mandarmani Beach: Arrive at Mandarmani Beach by late morning. Spend a couple of hours exploring the beach, indulging in water sports (if interested), or simply relaxing by the shore.
• Chandaneswar Shiv Temple: Visit the Chandaneswar Shiv Temple, which is around 8 km away from Mandarmani. Spend some time exploring the temple and its surroundings.
• Enjoy a seafood lunch at one of the local eateries near Mandarmani Beach. Fresh seafood is a specialty of the region, so don't miss out on trying some local delicacies.
• After lunch, head towards Tajpur, which is around 16 kilometers away. It takes approximately 30-45 minutes to reach Tajpur from Mandarmani.

• If time permits and you're interested, you can visit the Digha Mohana Fish Market near Tajpur to experience the local fishing culture and perhaps purchase some fresh seafood to take back home.
