About Sharana Basaveshwara Temple
Sharana Basaveshwara Temple is dedicated to the reformer and saint, Shri Basaveshwara and is located in the Gulbarga district. The temple is a unique blend of Hindu and Muslim architectural styles. The large number of tourists all round the year visits the garbha Gudi, which is the burial place of the Saint. The beautiful lake situated close to the temple adds to the divinity and serenity to the ambience. Each year an annual car festival is organized to observe the death anniversary of the saint.
