Located on old airport road in Bangalore, HAL Aerospace Museum is India`s first aviation and aerospace museum and has many aircrafts, helicopters, a mock air traffic control tower and engine models on display.
Museum is quite well maintained by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited was established in 2001, showcases the history and growth of India’s aviation and aerospace industry and HAL since its inception in 1940s.
HAL Aerospace Museum also has a flight simulator, some aircraft engines, actual MIG -21 series fighters, model of PSLV – India’s trusted space rocket, ATC Radar etc. Musueem premises has a garden, chilren’s play area and a Souvenir shop. One can buy miniature replicas of different aircrafts from this shop.
Alos known as HAL Heritage Museum, it is open to public from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM p.m. on all days.
