Later the museum building was moved to the current location. The artifacts and items excavated are exhibited in the AP state Archaeological Museum. The most fascinating feature of the museum is the Egyptian mummy. Also, the Buddha Gallery of the museum houses the items which date back to last century. Many artifacts exhibited belong to Nizam of Hyderabad and Kakatiya Dynasty.
