About Hyderabad Botanical Gardens
The Hyderabad Botanical Gardens also known as Kotla Vijayabhaskara Reddy Botanical Garden are located in the forest of Kothagud, spreading over 120 acres of land. The Forest Department and the Tourism Department together have successfully made it as a major tourist attraction, where nature lovers can come and observe various preserved species of flora as well as appreciate the grandeur of the gardens. The gardens do not only consist of medicinal plants, ornamental trees or aquatic plants but also has marvelous rocks, water reservoirs and awe-inspiring meadows. The gardens have not only mesmerized humans but also distinct species of birds and insects. The management also happens to organize nature camps and provide picnic spots at an economical price
