About Gandhi Sarovar
The Gandhi Sarovar is a small lake renowned for its clear water, and located 3km from Kedarnath. It is also known as Chorabari Tal as it is near the Chorabari Bamak Glacier. One can trek here from Kedarnath, and the route is well paved for over half of the way. The 3km trek begins from the iron bridge of Kedarnath. There are no shops on the trekking route so one should carry all the essentials. The trek offers unparalleled views of the Himalayas and the valley.
