India Andhra Pradesh Sir Arthur Cotton Museum

About

Constructed in 1988, the museum stands in honor of Rajahmundry’s greatest architect. Sir Arthur Cotton lived and devoted his time to the construction of navigation projects throughout the whole of India. Widely known as the ‘Delta Architect’. He transformed the Godavari River from a threatening and deadly natural force into a fertile water resource. The museum contains models, drawings and tools, explaining exactly how he achieved his projects.
