Bangaram island just around 8-10 KMs from Agatti, where you land is considered one of the most maleficent islands in Lakshadweep. Turquoise ocean, palm groves which serves as canopy, glittering coral reefs, and colorful marine life will definitely transform you from an adult into a kid. With a beautiful lagoon falling in between the island and the whole island being encompassed by corals of all colors and it leaves you intrigued; looking at the multi-colored fishes and corals and with the water changing color and all you need to do is be there to feel the sanity left in you and the peace that dwells around you.
It is true that there are a lot of negative comments about the place, which includes accommodation and food and boat facilities, but to counter that you have great staff that helps you and the quietude that one deserves, which a lot of places in the world lacks today. Thinnakara Island is preferable when it comes to accommodation and it is just like your privately owned island, literally. There would be times when you’d feel that the island is like your own home and the privacy is unimaginable. People do prefer going here though in comparison to Bangaram. The glass boat rides, the snorkeling, fishing, kayaking and the scuba diving is an attraction of this place.
