White Sandy beaches and tiny sand dunes are the most interesting features of Kadmat Island, also known as Cardamom Island. This island lies close to Amini Islands and is one for a true traveler and not for a tourist, as a traveler quoted. You have white sands and clean water under you and it sweeps you off your feet. There isn’t much to do here, other than what the other islands provide. Nevertheless, the snorkeling and scuba diving are a must here. All water sports are available and the tools aren’t that old and they’re fairly maintained.
The accommodation isn’t of high standards, but if it is just for the place that you’re going and not really fussy, you can choose to plan a trip to this island as well. Just like the others, there’s permit requirement here also and that is one hectic thing that can hamper your plan in a lot of ways, including the other con being, the timings for the boat; which is simply unpredictable. The luminous sea and the mind boggling lagoon with a plethora of colorful sea animals, is what this place provides as well.
We could say Kadmat Island is a “Hustle & Bustle Proof” like we say “Sound Proof”. Visit Kadmat Island and chill out and get rejuvenated. During the right season you would be able to see plenty of marine life such as turtles, eagle ray, moray eels, and various tropical fishes. Since Kadmat is a coral reef island, the sea is quite shallow here and you see lagoons everywhere.
You can cover the whole beach area in an hours walk and you need to sleep under the sky here and watch the sunrise, a memory that you will cherish throughout. The sunrise and the sunset are the main things here, so make sure while looking for accommodation, you have that in mind. If you’re too picky about food, you’re going to be a little disappointed, it’s just minimal food.
