About Havelock Island

Located 60 kilometers North West from Port Blair, Havelock Islands entices even the busiest of the people. Emblazoned with a dazzling coast, it was named after British General Henry Havelock. It is one of the largest islands encompassing the Ritchie’s Archipelago.
The Radhanagar Beach of the Island was named Asia’s Best Beach in the Time Magazine’s 2004 Edition; the coasts of Elephant Beach and Vijaynagar Beach are also worth exploring. Snorkeling and scuba diving are the two most sought after adventure sports, trekking on the other hand is gaining popularity amongst the tourists. The best time to travel to Havelock Island is from November to April, as tourists can enjoy the most approving climate and experiment with adventure sports, making the most of their holiday experience.
