About Coronation Bridge
The Coronation Bridge spanning across the Teesta River is the unique architecture of Sevoke and also known as Sevoke Bridge. This bridge connects Darjeeling and Jalpaiguri districts. The bridge was named so in honor of King George VI in 1937 and construction was completed in 1941.
Though not worth visiting specially, view of the Teesta river from the bridge is amazing and worth a stop if visiting Sevoke Kali mandir (next to the bridge) or crossing the bridge.
