About EME Temple
EME temple is a unique temple, built by the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (EME) Corps, part of the Indian Army. It is also known as Dakshinamurti temple and Lord Shiva is the presiding deity. The temple has an unusual facade, nothing like the regular Indian temples you'd have seen. It has a modern appearance, but it is said to incorporate symbols from various religions. The area is also surrounded by greenery and is hugely popular among visitors.
