The Darbargadh Fort is a famous fortified citadel in the town of Porbandar, which had been built by Rana Sartanji. The Fortress has an exquisite architecture with embossed stone entrance gate with robust wooden doors, telling the story of its glory. The fort is situated on the highest point of the town and is only accessible by Darabari. The fort has 3 small gates and 4 bigger ones, The four main gates are Kathiawadi Darwaja in east, Porbandar Gate in the west, Halar Gate in the north and Junagadh Gate in the south. The beautiful entrances are decorated with sculptures of four elephant’s statues in different poses. The fort defines a long history as well is an architectural marvel to visit.
