About Kohima Museum
The entry to the Kohima Museum is free of charge on every Thursday to individuals and Veterans. A very meagre amount is charged on all the other days. The Battle of Kohima took place in the North Eastern part of India, close to the Indo-Burma. The war took place between 4th April and 22nd June 1944. At the same place where the Kohima museum has been made the Japanese army had been stopped, defeated and forced into retreat here.
