About Dassam Falls
Dassam Falls, the name has been derived from the number of the streams that fall from a distance of 144 feet above, from the River Kanchi. Dassam falls is also known as Dassam Ghagh. This is amongst one of the other beautiful waterfalls of the region for which tourists come from everywhere and it has greenery all around. It’s musical and empowering, the tunes and melody that you encounter, is a different feeling in all. It is not recommended to play and/or bath in, as it is very dangerous, especially for kids. If you are interested in recreational activities, there are facilities provided on the Kanchi River. It’s located on the Ranchi- Tata road which is approximately 34 kms from Ranchi.
