Ayutthaya is one of the most important archaeological site in Thailand and a one of the biggest kingdoms in the region at the time. The place is filled with various temples of Buddhist monasteries and statues which awestruck every tourist. The city held a rich history during the year 1350, earlier the capital of the Siam Kingdom now the place is enlisted under UNESCO World Heritage city. To the most, the magnificence is the Wat Chaiwatthanaram; a Buddhist temple that lies on the bank of the Chao Phraya river. The place consists of 120 Buddha statues and the wall and ceiling are crafted with powerful paintings decoding the life of Buddha.
Next is the Wat Lokaya Sutha is a ruined monastery. The place is exploring by many tourists visualizing the ancient structure of floors, walls and pillars, and Buddha images. Ayutthaya historical park amazes every history lover, the park is also zoned under UNESCO World Heritage sites where many temples and ruins are laid amidst a serene landscape.
