About The Abu Dhabi Corniche
The Corniche is situated in the city of Abu Dhabi, and is basically a road that spreads across eight kilometers along the waterfronts. It has cycle parks, fountains and park areas. It also has cafes, restaurants and the Corniche Beach. It is a lovely place to stroll or jag and have a good view of city’s skyscrapers.
The most occupying the famous attraction here is the Corniche Beach, is a life-guarded beach which has the sand, surf and the sunshine to make it a calming experience for you. You can easily find umbrellas and the spots to relax spread across the length of this beach. It is a good place to swim, but you can’t go beyond 40 meters as the floating fences are installed to keep you safe.
There are three separate sections at the beach- the families, singles and general public. There are thousands of visitors coming to this beach all throughout the year. It has also been awarded the “Blue Flag” status, which is the internationally renowned eco label for beaches and marinas that ensure clean and safe bathing water.
You can go around the Corniche in a bicycle which can easily be rented from the shops. You can choose from different varieties of cycle available like the mountain bike or the city bike that can accommodate two to three passengers. The Abu Dhabi Corniche deserves a visit if only for its clean and peaceful atmosphere.
