Mandalpatti is 18 Kms from Madikeri. The drive traverses through enchanting terrains of Madikeri.T he roads are pretty good until for few kilometers it gets little rugged. There are no restaurants, so you need to carry foodstuff for the journey.It's about 30 minutes from Madikeri town and the place is simply a dreamland. You will have to buy tickets from the forest office to go up to the viewpoint. It’s one of those less traveled perfect places for the casual adventurist. The view point is about 1600 meters above sea-level. So be ready for a rendezvous with Nature, nothing but nature!
