The area was part of the Pallava Kingdom of Kanchipuram in the 4th century. Pondicherry's average elevation is at sea level, and a number of sea inlets, referred to as "backwaters" can be found here. Itinerary
- The tour starts early, our driver will pick you up at 6:00 - 7:00 AM from your hotel or residence in Chennai.
- Drive from Chennai to Pondicherry will take up to 5 hours, we will stop for breakfast on the way.
- Upon reaching Pondicherry, commonly known as Pondy, we can begin the tour with a visit to the famous Auroville.
- The next place of the visit after Auroville can be Aurobindo Ashram, set up in 1926 and is a must-visit attraction.
- After the visit to the Ashram, take a nice walk on the promenade at the Pondicherry beach.
- Stop by a local restaurant to try out cuisine for lunch.
- Post lunch, visit the Manakula Vinayagar temple, Chunnambar boathouse, and the Botanical garden.
- We will start our drive back to Chennai by 5:00 pm.
- Get dropped back to your hotel/residence by 9:30 pm (estimated time).

- The driver will know the local language, English speaking driver can be requested for during the booking in "Special Request" section, though the same cannot be promised.
- The guests may choose to skip or add any new attraction in the destination of the tour.
- Pick up and drop off has to be in the same location
- Sedans (4-seater) models provided are Suzuki Dzire, Toyota Etios or similar.
- SUV (6-seater) models provided are Toyota Innova, Mahindra Xylo, Suzuki Ertiga or similar.
- Night charge of Rs.300 is applicable if the cab service is used between 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
- The tour has a kilometre limit of 400 kilometres.
- After 400 kilometres, additional per kilometre charge will be applicable (to be paid directly to the driver)
- For Sedan (4-seater) - Rs. 13 per km (additional kilometre charge)
- For SUV (6-seater) - Rs. 18 per km (additional kilometre charge)

We have two options Sedans & bigger SUVs. In Sedans we provide Suzuki Dzire, Toyota Etios mostly, sometimes it could be Nissan Sunny. In SUVs we provide Toyotta Innova, Mahindra Xylo, Suzuki Ertiga. You can request a particular model while booking in \'Special Request\' and we try to provide it however you can not pick and choose exact car models. We operate only AC vehicles and hatchbacks are not available.
