These Yoga Retreat in Rishikesh are offered at a very economical fee of USD 300 per week and you can choose to increase your period of stay for more than 2 weeks depending upon your interest. The focus at our Rishikesh Gurukul is on laying a firm foundation of yogic insights rooted in ancient wisdom, in the hearts and minds of all who come. The teaching style is straightforward and heartfelt, with a judicious mix of traditional knowledge and modern methodologies.

Situated in Rishikesh, a small town nestled in the lap of Himalayas, it offers a unique platform to learn yoga and meditation midst ashram surroundings.

These two eternal streams of ancient knowledge form a comprehensive healing combination to overcome stress and its related problems and further help in evolution of Mankind.

Day 01: Arrive Delhi (Hotel check in time at 1400 hrs.)

Today arrival at Delhi airport. Excel’s representative will meet you as you exit the arrival terminal building after which you would be transferred to your hotel.
Delhi is a bustling metropolis, which successfully combines in its folds the ancient with modern. Its strategic location was the prime reasons why successive dynasties chose it as their seat of power. In fact, more mythological cities are believed to be here, like the city of Indraprastha from the Hindu epic Mahabharata, founded around 5000 BC. Numerous monuments were built over several centuries by different rulers. Later in first half of 20th century much of New Delhi was planned by Sir Edwin Lutyens, who laid out a grandiose central administrative area as a testament to British rule in India.

Day 02: Rishikesh

Yoga is basically a way of life which has been evolved as a system to go beyond the personality complex and achieve absolute freedom-liberation of the spirit from the matter.
After breakfast Visit several temples nestling on the banks of the Ganga at Rishikesh, also visit the Lakshman Jhula and Ram Jhula, a hanging bridge structure over river Ganga.

His son Jahangir completed the construction of the tomb in the year 1613
