Ayurveda is all about the science of holistic healing and it involves a complete plan to achieve the perfect health for all individuals. Medicated oil is prepared by naturally grown herbs which has a lot of medicinal values. This massage reduces the mental tension by increasing blood circulation. 

Kizhi Ayurveda treatment is a type of massage performed using small satchels containing herbal powders, herbs, rice or sand. The word or term “Kizhi” is taken from the Malayalam language from south India. It can be defined in many ways. It’s a massage therapy and part of Ayurveda mainly aims to enhance and protect the health and wellness of the whole body. 

Shirodhara is a form of Ayurveda therapy that involves gently pouring liquids over the forehead and can be one of the steps involved in Panchakarma. The name comes from the Sanskrit words Shiro (head) and Dhara (flow). The liquids used in Shirodhara depend on what is being treated but can include oil, milk, buttermilk, coconut water, or even plain water. 

What to Expect?

• The experience includes 2.5 hours of body massage with herbal oil by an expert masseur.
• Herbal massage rejuvenates the body by improving vitality, blood circulation and reduces mental tension.
• In leaf bundle massage, herbal leaves are applied to the whole body in boluses with the hot medicated oil which helps in increasing blood circulation and reduces body pain. 
• Shirodhara involves in poring medicated oil continuously on the forehead of a person lying in supine position.  After the massage, feel completely relaxed and stress-free. 
• Massage is followed by a hot bath before the experience ends.
