About Pookode Lake
Pookode lake is a freshwater lake and the origin of Panaraman rivulet further forming the Kabani river. The lake is surrounded by breathtaking landscape covered with forests and blue water lilies. The lake allows boating. The lake is a quiet welcoming retreat.
There is an adjoining ashram called Sree Narayana Ashram and a handicrafts shop where tribal handicrafts and natural artifacts are available for sale.Also available are spices, herbal and tribal medicines.
