About Ghagar Buri Chandi Temple
Ghagar Buri Chandi or Ma Ghagurburi Temple is located close to the National Highway 2; it is at a distance of 3 KMs from the heart of the city. The temple is situated on the banks of the rivulet named Nunia and is believed to be the home of goddess Ghagarburi, a reflection of Maa Chandi. The temple is open from dusk to dawn; hundreds of devotees gather at the temple to offer prayers in the morning. The temple is visited by pilgrims all around the year. The best time to visit the temple is during the winters. This place is a symbol of religious beliefs and serenity.
