About Kotilingeswara Temple
Kotilingeswara Temple is one of the more popular temples to be seen in the Rajahmundry area. Built in the 10th century it’s a pilgrimage center for Lord Shiva. The large number of baths, or ghats, around the temple make it popular among devotees, and a popular spot to visit for tourists. In local lore, it’s said that the cursed Kind Indra used one of the ghats to lift the effects of a curse.
