About Sayedani Maa Tomb

This was a temple built for by a son for his mother. A religious celebration of the customs of purdah, this temple stands proud with lovely lattice work adorning its dome, surrounded by small minarets. Inside the mausoleum, there is an underground chamber where, in memory of the tribute, only women are permitted to enter.
