This is unarguably the most interesting tourist spot here. It is actually a huge chunk of a hillock that has grown just a single beautiful tree right on the top. The view is perfect after the monsoon, when the hillock is draped with a beautiful coat of light green and the single tree with its perfect shape stands atop in all its majesty. It is truly a spirit lifting view to say the least.
A narrow ledge called Shivaji’s ladder takes you down to more stupendous vantage points to view the profound scenery, and is believed to be used and favored by Chatrapati Shivaji himself during his hunting camps.
