About Neelkanth Mahadev
Neelkanth Mahadev temple (Blue Throated Lord Shiva) is a dedication to the deity of Shivalinga. Set in the borders of the park at Sariska, this has the meaning of Blue Throat Lord Shiva and is famous for its setting in a complex of more than 300 smaller Hindu and Jain temples. The complex dates back to the 7th century and exhibits a variety of stone carvings to entertain and amuse any visitor.
