About Pandupol
Pandupol is a legendary site within the Sariska Tiger Reserve, site where Bhīma vanquished the giant demon Hidimbb and won the hand of his less demonic sister Hidimba. Pandavas also took refuge at the spot during Mahabharata time. Pandupol is a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It has a cascading spring which emerges and flows out from a rocky setting within the temple complex. The 40ft waterfall which lies behind the temple, and the variety of wildlife supported in this lush and fertile outcrop make it a great place to explore for a day or an afternoon. It gets its name as it is a starting point of a spring.
